Go beyond your four-year BBA in accounting with advanced professional and leadership skills that will give you an edge in landing a rewarding career – in just one additional year.

You can get your BBA and Master of Accounting degrees in five years, putting you on the road to take the CPA exam. Open to all Accounting majors or minors, the PPA officially starts the fall of your Junior year by enrolling in the PPA Seminar Course. Benefits include:

  • Early acceptance into the TCU Master of Accounting
  • Early notification about graduate assistance award eligibility
  • Waive the GMAT requirement for the Master of Accounting

  • Maintain 3.0 GPA

Focus: Career Education & Professional Development

Fall Semester

  • Enroll in PPA Seminar (ACCT 30101)
  • Engage in Professional Development and Networking
  • Participate in Internship recruiting experience

Spring Semester

  • Coursework Maximized

Focus: Internship Readiness & Internship Reflection

Fall Semester

  • Connect with MAcs
  • Process MAc Matriculation
  • Decide MAc Concentration
  • Begin 55000 MAc Coursework

Spring Semester

  • Continue 55000 Coursework
  • Finalize CPA Eligibility
  • Graduate with BBA
  • Intern during this Spring and/or in the Summer *
