The Consulting Career Preparation Course helps sophomores and juniors explore consulting, connect with industry professionals and prepare for consulting internship and full-time recruiting.

About the Course

Taught by staff in the Alcon Career Center and Professional Development Center, this course gives students access to Neeley alumni and industry professionals working in consulting. Students explore strategy, technology, human capital and advisory services while preparing for the consulting recruiting process.

  • Format: Graded, 3-credit course
  • Focus: Recruiting preparation, industry exposure and case interview readiness  

 

Eligibility

Students should meet course requirements and demonstrate strong academic preparation, interest in consulting and readiness for career-focused development. Eligibility includes:

  • Sophomore or junior standing  
  • Business or pre-business major  
  • Strong cumulative GPA  
  • Completion of required TCU credits
  • Interest in consulting career pathways  

How to Apply

Application materials are available through the Case Interview Prep D2L course. Students who need access should contact the program team. Application materials typically include:

  • Statement of interest video  
  • Current résumé in Neeley format  
  • Degree Progress Core Report

Selected students receive a permission number to register for the course.
