Program Requirements
Requirements
- If admitted, official transcripts will be required from all previously attended institutions. We reserve the right to rescind an offer of admission if any misrepresentation is discovered.
- Basic mathematics proficiency (college algebra or equivalent, grade C or better)
- Résumé outlining professional experience and accomplishments
- GMAT or GRE required for admission and scholarship consideration. The Executive Assessment is also accepted.
- Applicants who are CFA Charter holders or have earned a postgraduate degree in a quantitative or
- STEM field may qualify for a waiver.
- Additional waivers may be considered on a case-by-case basis for applicants with exceptional academic and professional experience.

Accelerated MBA (Additional Requirements)
- BBA or equivalent from an AACSB-accredited institution
- Strong academic record and test performance
- Minimum three years postgraduate work or military experience

- Round 2: March 1 (final for visa-seeking students)
- Round 3: May 1
- Round 4: June 1 (space available)

- Enroll in PPA Seminar during junior year

Non-TCU Students
- Must complete prerequisite accounting coursework (U.S. GAAP-based), including:
- Financial Reporting I & II
- Cost Accounting
- Taxation
- Audit
- Accounting Information Systems
CPA Eligibility
The 30-hour MAc program is designed to build upon your undergraduate accounting education and support CPA eligibility requirements. Requirements vary by state, and students should consult with the MAc advising team to confirm eligibility in the state where they plan to sit for the exam.
International Students
Required unless waived based on prior education/work in English-speaking environments.

International transcripts must:
- Include certified English translation
- Be evaluated (recommended via WES)
Additional requirements may apply by country.
Students must submit:
- Financial documentation

- International scholar form
All international students must attend orientation before program start, including career-focused sessions.

Applications are reviewed holistically based on academic readiness, experience and fit.
Business background not required for all programs. Math proficiency is required.
Applicants are required to provide contact information for individuals who can provide professional recommendations. Formal recommendation letters are not accepted.
Additional requirements apply for English proficiency, transcripts and visas.
