Renee Olvera is a Professor of Professional Practice and the Director of the Master of Accounting and Master of Science in Business Analytics programs at Texas Christian University. She has been a faculty member at TCU for thirteen years and specializes in topics such as risk assessment, internal controls, data literacy, and applied technology. While Renee’s primary passion is accounting – she believes that professionals with knowledge of data literacy and technology have unlimited opportunity in their career. When not teaching or researching in the accounting or technology space, Renee enjoys driving her three kids to all their activities, rock climbing and reading books.
